Lake Garda Boat Tour & Sirmione

The best way to explore Lake Garda enjoying the quietness of the lake is by boat. On this day tour you will visit some of Lake Garda’s most charming resorts including Sirmione - over the centuries impossibly pretty Sirmione has drawn the likes of Catullus and Maria Callas to its banks, and today millions of visitors follow in their footsteps for a glimpse of Lake Garda's prettiest village. After skirting the Sirmione peninsula to admire the major points of interest, such as Villa Callas, the Aquaria thermal spa and the “Grotte di Catullo” roman ruins, we sail towards the stunning private island Isola del Garda. Anchored just off Salò, this speck of land is crowned with impressive battlements, luxuriant formal gardens and a sumptuous neo-Gothic Venetian villa.

Private visits must be pre-arranged and authorized by the noble family who owns the island. We then continue to a much loved place called Gardone, which has attracted personalities like the poet Gabriele d’Annunzio. Enjoy a guided visit of the monumental villa called Il Vittoriale, where d’Annunzio lived his last years and a delicious lunch on Gardone’s pleasant lakefront. In the afternoon we will visit Lazise -  its name means "place on the lake"- an enchanting town of Medieval origins. Lazise has a wonderful old town centre, with narrow alleys and picturesque squares, a harbor set right in the city centre and the 14th century Veronese customs office.
