Culinary Experience with Chef Paola

Native of Lake Como, Paola is an expert connoisseur of healthy cuisine, a medical researcher and the author of culinary and diet books. Cooking is Paola’s passion, passed down to her from generations. She offers more than an ordinary cooking lesson, while you are enjoying this wonderful place, you can have fun and an overall experience with informal lessons on authentic Italian cuisine, Mediterranean diet, Italian language and culture. 

our day starts with a gourmet expresso or cappuccino in an elegant local café and shopping at the colorful Como Market for genuine and fresh seasonal ingredients, required for your personalized menu and carefully selected by Paola. The menu - that will include three recipes: a first course, a main course and a dessert (a copy of the recipes prepared will be released) - is usually tailor made according to each client's personal taste or diet. The lesson will be held at Paola’s home after a glass of prosecco to set the mood! After the class, you can enjoy lunch together with Paola's family. Above all, expect plenty of good food, wine and many stories to tell!

Italy is open to American travelers.

Visitors are welcome to visit Italy without a mandatory 10-day quarantine if arriving on a Covid-tested flight to Rome, Milan, Naples or Venice.

Travelers on these flights, regardless of vaccination status, must be tested before departure and again upon arrival to be exempt from quarantine.
